Flores Mobile App to Include Facial and Fingerprint Recognition Technology
November 30, 2018 - Flores, a leading national administrator of tax-advantaged consumer directed health plans (CDHPs) and COBRA/retiree billing administration, recently released an update to its mobile application, Flores Mobile (formerly Flores e-Receipt).
Enhancements include biometric authentication, which adds fingerprint and facial recognition technology. In addition, the update included an updated style and navigation, as well as updates to support specific devices to provide a better participant experience. The proprietary app is unique to Flores and connects to the fully responsive Flores247 Web Portal. Features available to participants include: filing claims, viewing balances and reimbursement history, cancelling COBRA coverage, and making direct bill payments, including COBRA payments.
As more participants rely on mobile devices as their primary technology source, Flores has sought to enhance and add mobile-based features to its suite of technology tools. In addition to the mobile app, Flores also offers SMS and IVR to participants for 24/7 access to account information, from any location.
